In 2017, Empower 54 will send Six 40" containers worth over $18M to Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo and Liberia through its "Empower54Gives" campaign. The containers will contain high quality medication and nutritional meals for IDPS and Refugees. The three counties will receive 2 containers each in 2017 at no charge to the counties. This program has already started with Borno State receiving the first container on February 3rd 2017 in Maiduguri. The 40" container donated to Borno State contains a wide variety of high grade multi vitamins, malnutrition medication, gloves, syringes, sterile gauze, doctors stethoscopes, Nutritional meals for over 147, 000 people, etc worth over $3M. These items will be distributed by Empower 54 to communities in Borno State with support from the Nigeria Army and the Borno State Government. On Saturday, February 4th during the flag off donation at the Muna IDP camp in Maiduguri, the Founder and President of Empower 54, Princess Modupe Ozolua, thanks all Empower 54's partners and their Global goodwill Ambassador, Kat Graham (Vampire Diaries) for making this donation possible. The second container for Nigeria will be donated to another Nigerian States in need. These donations are given at no cost to the benefiting states/countries.
