When you empower a woman, you empower her children, a community, a tribe! This is very true and critical to the process of helping families have access to better quality of life.
We support and establish skills acquisition centers to teach/encourage young girls and women vocational skills to enable them become self-sufficient by donating resources that enable them become entrepreneurs.
Empower 54’s unique program entails the following:
- Education: a pre-requisite to be benefit from this program requires the beneficiaries to receive additional basic math and English lessons from our teachers.
- Vocational Skills: Learning relevant basic revenue generating skills to ensure employment and specialization such as Tailoring, Shoe making, Carpentry, knitting, and Jewelry making.
- Promote Entrepreneurship: assist with sales of their finished goods to potential buyers.
- Music/Art lesson: Learning and appreciating basic musical instruments to promote balanced physiological rehabilitation and cultural appreciation.
With strategic partnerships, we have created opportunities for women between the ages of 15 – 30 years to become students and entrepreneurs at the same time.
Their products are being sold internationally through retail partners to earn them sustainable income and independence.
We do NOT charge beneficiaries for machines or resources given to them. To sustain this program, we need your continuous donation to obtain these items and send to those in dire need of them.
